About The Position
The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of individuals with physical disabilities, with the primary goal of maximizing patients’ functional status during their hospital stay. This is an inpatient position with a 13-week contract duration and a caseload of 6–8 patients per day. Documentation systems include ReDoc for outpatient and MedHost for inpatient.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Arizona.
- At least 1 year of experience or the ability to function independently.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Perform administrative duties and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Pursue professional growth and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
