About The Position

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Vibra and Select Medical, is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist for its Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital located in Bowling Green, KY. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges resulting from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Part-time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k upon reaching 1,000 hours of employment within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. Requirements

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) completed as part of the onboarding process and before the first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery design.
