About The Position
We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide temporary holiday coverage. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, and dementia-related issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with capability to work independently.
- Active Washington State OT license required.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with patient evaluation and therapy preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to patients with various diagnoses including CVA, orthopedic conditions, and dementia.
- Make recommendations for home programs to support patient recovery post-discharge.
- Utilize Epic software for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed.
