About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and be committed to enhancing patient recovery and rehabilitation. This role will involve working with clients to improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life.

Requirements

• Valid certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Preferred experience in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions under supervision, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on interventions and home care techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
