About The Position

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare partnership, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The hospital provides care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, with two weekend shifts per month required. The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and compensation of up to $109,000. Requirements

Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for state licensure.
Certified BLS, or completion of BLS certification within the first 90 days of employment.
Complete post-offer employment testing (POETs) before the first day of work.

Responsibilities

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction.
Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
Design functional treatment programs that support an effective return to community activities.
Educate patients, families, students, co-workers, and self.
Perform other professional duties related to patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
