About The Position

Human Touch Home Health is looking for Occupational Therapists (OTs) for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN home health opportunities throughout Silver Spring, Maryland. This role offers the flexibility to choose your schedule and preferred work areas within Silver Spring. The position focuses on providing one-on-one patient care in their homes to help them improve independence with daily living activities, address specific challenges, and ensure home safety.

Requirements

Active Maryland Occupational Therapist License Required
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Reliable transportation
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to independently manage home health visits

Nice To Haves

Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
WellSky Experience is a Plus

Responsibilities

Complete OT evaluations in patients' homes
Develop individualized plans of care
Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living
Address dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and functional mobility
Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals
Assess home safety and fall risks
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications
Educate patients, families, and caregivers
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
Complete reassessments and discharge planning
Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
Complete timely documentation using WellSky
