About The Position

NEXT Occupational Therapists care for people with general, upper extremity, and neurologic conditions that adversely affect their ability to perform activities of daily living. The therapist works as part of a team to provide creative, compassionate solutions for patients and helps them function at their best in daily activities.

NEXT Therapy Solutions provides therapy services to people living in Independent, Assisted, and Memory care communities. Its stated mission is “Empowering People to Achieve Results,” with a focus on helping people remain active and engaged in their communities.

Requirements

• Outgoing, personable, and confident.
• Exceptional communication skills and coachability.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently.
• Working knowledge of Medicare documentation and billing/coding practices.
• Graduate of an ACOTA-accredited occupational therapy program.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Florida state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Modality certification preferred.
