About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Plover & Portage, WI. The role involves providing outpatient clinical services, focusing on DOT physicals and comprehensive occupational medicine. The coverage period is from November 2, 2026, to March 2027. The schedule includes working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Plover from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Tuesdays in Portage from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The average daily patient volume is approximately 16. The facility utilizes the Epic Systoc EMR system and is supported by 2 Medical Assistants and 1 Office Staff member.
Requirements
- Active WI license or willing to obtain
- BLS certification
- DOT Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform DOT certification exams in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Utilize FMCSA digital upload system for documentation and reporting.
- Provide comprehensive occupational medicine services.
- Manage patient volume of approximately 16 patients per day.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic Systoc.
