About The Position

Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI) is hiring established two-person teams to travel throughout the United States and provide workplace hearing and respiratory health screenings at industrial and corporate facilities. This is full-time, year-round, over-the-road work for couples or partners who want to travel and work together. Teams may travel approximately 340 or more days per year and may be assigned throughout HCI’s continental U.S. service territory. The role is not a position where employees return home every weekend; it involves extended periods away from home, hotel living, and weekday and weekend assignments based on customer schedules. Both team members participate in customer service, operating HCI vehicles and equipment, setting up testing locations, working directly with client employees, and completing testing documentation. Depending on the assignment, services include employee hearing screening and respiratory testing. HCI provides approximately six weeks of paid training and certification before independent field assignments. Previous occupational health experience is not required. HCI provides the company vehicle, fuel, occupational health testing equipment, approved job-related and operating expenses, paid training and professional certification, corporate hotel discounts, and medical scrubs. Compensation includes a $55,000 annual team base salary, a team per diem of $240 per eligible travel day, and potential bonuses. Eligible continuing technicians may receive an annual retention bonus after their first full year. Health insurance eligibility begins after 30 days, and 401(k) eligibility begins after one year. Scheduled vacation and year-end holiday shutdown periods are provided.
