About The Position
We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Cooperstown, New York. This role involves providing hospitalist coverage, managing deliveries, and performing various procedures. The coverage period is from November 07, 2026, to November 14, 2026, with 12-hour shifts available. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system and offers 24/7 Midwifery Coverage (APP) and backup MD coverage. This position requires hospital privileges and adherence to all facility protocols.
Requirements
- BC in OB/GYN
- Active NY License
- OB/GYN Hospitalist experience
- Hospital Privileges Required
- Ability to perform Cesarean section
- Ability to perform D&C
- Ability to perform Laparoscopy for Ectopic Pregnancy
Responsibilities
- Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage for assigned shifts
- Manage deliveries and perform cesarean sections, D&C, and laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy as needed
- Collaborate with 24/7 midwifery and backup MD coverage
- Document patient care in EPIC EMR
- Adhere to all facility protocols and credentialing requirements
