About The Position

We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This role involves providing 24-hour on-call coverage for the OB/GYN department, managing labor and delivery, performing gynecologic surgical procedures, and providing antepartum and postpartum care. The position requires experience with EPIC EMR and completion of MUSC credentialing. Support staff, including NPs and midwives, are available.

Requirements

• EPIC experience required
• Completion of MUSC credentialing checklist
• Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for OB/GYN department
• Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide antepartum and postpartum care for inpatient census
• Perform gynecologic surgical procedures in the operating room
• Supervise and collaborate with NP and midwife support staff
