About The Position
We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for a Locum Tenens position at a hospital in Elkins, WV. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage for Labor and Delivery, managing obstetric emergencies, and performing all OBGYN procedures. The physician will collaborate with support staff and ensure a rapid response time to critical cases.
Requirements
- Universal License (IMLC)
- Board Certified (OB/GYN)
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for Labor and Delivery
- Manage obstetric emergencies
- Perform all OBGYN procedures
- Collaborate with support staff including L&D nursing, pediatrics, and anesthesia
- Ensure timely response to critical cases within 10 minutes
