About The Position

Women’s Care is recruiting an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician for its established team at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida. The hospitalist program provides 24-hour obstetrical and gynecological coverage at hospitals in the Tampa area and surrounding communities. Physicians are employed directly by the hospitalist program and work an average of seven 24-hour shifts per month to achieve full-time employment status. The position has no call responsibilities, and Women’s Care physician staff provides backup coverage when needed. The Brandon Regional Hospital setting includes a Level III NICU, MFM on call, 15 labor and delivery rooms, and 29 mother-and-baby rooms. The role is benefits eligible and includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, company-paid malpractice coverage, and a CME allowance or stipend. Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Three years of practice experience.
Unrestricted state medical license.
Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.
OB/GYN board certified or board eligible (ABOG or AOBOG).
Board certification required within five years of eligibility.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour obstetrical and gynecological coverage at the hospital.
Work an average of seven 24-hour shifts per month.
Provide hospitalist coverage as part of the established team at Brandon Regional Hospital.
