About The Position

Women's Care is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN physician to join its established, physician-led practice in Brandon, Florida. The opportunity is open to physicians completing residency as well as experienced physicians. The practice provides a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, with an average volume of 20–25 patients per day across four office locations. The practice team includes nine OB/GYN physicians, four advanced practice providers, and one certified nurse midwife. In-office services include infertility treatment, female care, immunizations and vaccinations, nutrition, and cancer screenings. The call schedule is 1:5, with backup call only; each physician is on backup call two to four days per month. A centralized, LPN/RN-staffed triage line handles clinical calls, with in-house call as needed. The physician will have access to physician-driven committees, local and regional medical leadership support, state-of-the-art laboratory resources, advanced imaging and innovative technology, clinical best-practice sharing, professional networking, and opportunities for leadership and growth. Partnership opportunities are available. The practice admits patients at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital – South.

Requirements

MD or DO.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG/AOBOG).
Board certification required within five years of eligibility.
Unrestricted state medical license, or ability to obtain one.
Unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain one.
Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide obstetric and gynecologic care across a full spectrum of services.
Participate in the practice's backup call schedule, with in-house call as needed.
Provide care in a collaborative, patient-centered practice environment.
