About The Position
Advanced Practice Provider – Outpatient OB/GYN– Cartersville, GA Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the OB/GYN team at Piedmont Cartersville. This Advanced Practitioner will be working under the supervision of multiple Physicians providing excellent patient care. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day position practicing in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a Women’s Health setting.
- Masters, bachelor’s degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist with care of patients in the clinic
- Communicate patient condition changes to physician and coordinate care
- Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines in hospital
- This position may also include covering the service pager after hours occasionally.
