About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join Metropolitan OB/GYN, an affiliate of Mercy’s Family Childbirth & Children’s Center, in Baltimore, Maryland. The role is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN who is passionate about caring for women and improving prenatal care for the community’s most vulnerable. The physician joins a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice providers, midwives, registered nurses, and medical students, supporting practice operations and Labor and Delivery. The team uses a collaborative care model under a Medical Director and the OB Chairman, with an emphasis on innovation, care quality, workflow efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Interest in improving the quality of care for women seeking prenatal care while serving the community’s most vulnerable.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care, including prenatal care for women in the community.
• Participate in practice operations and Labor and Delivery as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, midwives, RNs, and medical students to support care delivery and improve workflow efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Participate in a shared call rotation and a weekly schedule that supports collaborative rotation and teaching.
