About The Position

Join Asante Medical Group as an OB-GYN Physician and provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women and families across Southern Oregon. Care includes prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, preventive health, gynecologic, surgical, and procedural services. The physician works with a collaborative interdisciplinary team at AMG, described as Southern Oregon’s largest provider-based medical group, with approximately 350 physicians and advanced practice providers across 30 locations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
• Current unrestricted Oregon physician license, or ability to obtain Oregon licensure before beginning clinical practice.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; board certification must be obtained within five years of completing residency.
• Meet Asante Medical Staff credentialing requirements and be eligible for appropriate Obstetrics and Gynecology clinical privileges.
• BLS and any additional certifications required for assigned clinical responsibilities and privileges.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based practices in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health.

• Experience practicing the full scope of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Demonstrated competency in prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecologic care, and operative/procedural OB-GYN care appropriate to granted privileges.

Responsibilities
