About The Position

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN per diem physician to join our hospital-based practice. Our team includes three OBGYN physicians and three certified nurse midwives providing the full spectrum of women's health care - from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery. SVMC averages 400 births per year. Call is 1:4. This position offers employment by Dartmouth Health, with access to system-wide academic resources, mentorship and specialty collaboration. The team is supportive and collegial, consisting of physicians, CNMs and staff. A robotic-assisted surgical platform is available to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care. Requirements

Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
Post graduate training in residency program
Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
Active hospital staff membership
Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN

Responsibilities

Provide the full spectrum of women's health care, from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery.
Participate in a 1:4 call schedule.
Utilize a robotic-assisted surgical platform to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care.
Collaborate with a supportive and collegial team of physicians, CNMs and staff.
Work within a hospital-based practice averaging 400 births per year.
