About The Position

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN per diem physician to join our hospital-based practice. Our team includes three OBGYN physicians and three certified nurse midwives providing the full spectrum of women's health care - from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery. SVMC averages 400 births per year. Call is 1:4. This position offers employment by Dartmouth Health, with access to system-wide academic resources, mentorship and specialty collaboration. The team is supportive and collegial, consisting of physicians, CNMs and staff. A robotic-assisted surgical platform is available to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care. Requirements

  • Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
  • Post graduate training in residency program
  • Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
  • Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
  • Active hospital staff membership
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN

Responsibilities

  • Provide the full spectrum of women's health care, from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery.
  • Participate in a 1:4 call schedule.
  • Utilize a robotic-assisted surgical platform to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care.
  • Collaborate with a supportive and collegial team of physicians, CNMs and staff.
  • Work within a hospital-based practice averaging 400 births per year.
