About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Grass Valley, CA. This is an inpatient role covering supplemental needs at a hospital with a dedicated Family Birthing Center. The coverage period is from June 1st onwards, with specific shifts available throughout June, July, and August. The role primarily involves 24-hour call coverage, handling deliveries, C-sections, and ED call for OB/GYN cases. The facility has robust specialty backup, including anesthesiologists, general surgeons, local OBGYNs, a family medicine OB, a pediatrician, and respiratory therapists. The reason for coverage is due to cancellations and maternity leave.
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC/BE (ABOG/AOBOG; If BE: must be within 5 yrs)
- DEA
- Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in OBGYN
- Has done at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past 2 yrs or fellowship
- Self-Query NPDB report (obtained within the last 30 days)
