OBGYN Physician
About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Portland, OR. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient clinical care, as well as 24-hour in-house OB/GYN call coverage. The physician will manage a mix of low and high-risk pregnancies, perform routine and complicated deliveries, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The coverage period is from September 1, 2026, ongoing, with a schedule of 3 days per week and 3-5 shifts per month. The call schedule involves 12-hr or 24-hr shifts from 7:30a-7:30a, with a 15-minute response time. This position is for supplemental coverage due to the need for additional support in the practice.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) Required
- Oregon (OR) License Required
- DEA Required
- BLS Certification Required
- Case logs from the past 24 months required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- Experience with OB Ultrasounds
- Experience with repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Experience with breech and multiple births
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN call coverage.
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation and OB ultrasound performance.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, and multiple births.
- Provide clinical decision-making for C-sections and manage VBACs and laceration repairs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of APPs and MAs to ensure high-quality patient care.
