OBGYN Physician
About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Tuscon, AZ. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services and is intended to provide supplemental coverage. The coverage period is from June 1st ongoing, with a clinical coverage type. The shift schedule is 7 PM to 7 AM. The patient volume can range from 6-24. The practice includes 3 OB Hospitalists, 17 CNMs, 19 Community OBGYNs, and 2 MFM groups. The support staff consists of 15-20 RNs. The facility handles approximately 6000 births per year and has 24 beds. The trauma level is IV. The EMR system used is Epic. Temporary privileges are available, and hospital privileges are required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements

- NPDB Report
Responsibilities
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation, NST/CST/FSE, and OB ultrasounds.
- Perform Level I/screening ultrasounds for viability.
- Attend routine and complicated deliveries, including breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, and C-sections.
- Perform repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
