About The Position

A growing women’s health center serving the Monroe, NY, and Suffern, NY, communities is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician (MD) with hands-on Labor & Delivery experience. The physician will provide care related to pregnancy, reproductive health, and overall female wellness, working with healthcare professionals to deliver effective and compassionate services. The role includes hospital-based obstetric care at Good Samaritan Hospital and requires managing deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections. The position requires 52 on-call 24-hour shifts per year. H-1B sponsorship and transfers are welcome. The base salary range is $350,000–$400,000, depending on experience, with guaranteed salary increases over the course of a multi-year contract, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation compensation.

Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Active or eligible New York State medical license.
Hands-on Labor & Delivery experience.
Experience performing vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
Ability to independently manage obstetric patients during labor and delivery.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills, with a commitment to patient safety.
Commitment to 52 on-call 24-hour shifts per year.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care for obstetric patients, managing pregnancy and postpartum needs.
Diagnose and treat acute gynecological issues and provide care for gynecological patients.
Maintain appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record system according to Aizer’s policies.
Provide support and care for laboring patients at Good Samaritan Hospital according to the on-call schedule.
Provide and maintain supervisory responsibility for ancillary healthcare staff as required, including midwives, physician assistants, nursing staff, and medical assistants.
Perform surgical procedures when necessary for patient care.
