About The Position

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join their growing Women's Health team in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is a physician-led organization committed to delivering high-quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience. The physician will join an established team of nine OB/GYN physicians, one inpatient call physician, and three Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative, energetic, and patient-focused environment that emphasizes teamwork, quality care, and work-life balance. The practice offers comprehensive women's health services, including infertility treatment, hormone replacement therapy, and urodynamic testing, with opportunities for robotic surgery. The role involves a balanced practice with approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient responsibilities, serving both adult and pediatric patient populations.

Requirements

Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician
Valid medical license or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

Conduct clinic visits for approximately 3.5 days per week.
Perform surgeries for approximately 0.5 days per week.
Participate in 3 to 4 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month.
Provide backup call coverage for 3 to 5 days per month.
Provide comprehensive women's health services including infertility treatment, hormone replacement therapy, and urodynamic testing.
Perform diverse procedures including hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, cystocele and rectocele repair, D&C, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries.
Utilize robotic surgery opportunities.
Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies.
Work with Children's Mercy specialists.
Manage a balanced practice with approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient responsibilities.
Serve an adult and pediatric patient population.
