About The Position

This is an employed physician position in a busy, well-respected OB/GYN practice, supported by a strong referral base and the resources of a robust health system network. The physician will join an established team of nine physicians and three sonographers. The practice has an outpatient and inpatient mix and shared call, averaging five call shifts per month.

The physician will use advanced on-site resources, including a Level II Maternal Birthing Center and Level II NICU, to provide care for mothers and newborns. The role also involves participating in continuous clinical improvement and professional development, with support from on-site laboratory services and administrative staff to improve clinic workflows and patient outcomes. The position is within a nonprofit health system.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Physician licensure from the Texas Medical Board, obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care in an outpatient and inpatient practice setting.
• Participate in shared call, averaging five times per month.
• Use the Level II Maternal Birthing Center and Level II NICU resources to care for mothers and newborns.
• Participate in continuous clinical improvement and professional development.
• Work with on-site laboratory services and administrative support to optimize clinic workflows and patient outcomes.
