About The Position

Unified Women's Healthcare's affiliated practice, Capital Women's Care, is seeking a full-time OB/GYN for Division #33 in Frederick, Maryland. The physician will practice in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a collaborative staff of nine physicians and five nurse practitioners. The office provides a full suite of services, including an in-house lab and Cynosure Laser, as well as a Med Spa with employee discounts. The patient census is 20–25 per day, and the call schedule is 1:8 with a post-call day off. The practice is affiliated with Physicians Surgery Center, Frederick OB/GYN Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Frederick Memorial Hospital. Physicians have clinical practice autonomy, with support from Unified Women's Healthcare practice management. Unified Women's Healthcare is affiliated with a physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network with more than 925 affiliated practices and 2,700 providers. Its national network offers a variety of practice settings and career opportunities. Physician governance and clinical decision-making remain the exclusive domain of physicians, while the organization provides its affiliates with tools, training, support, and practice resources. The position is based in Frederick, Maryland, described as having excellent schools, a bustling downtown, a diverse community, affordable housing, and convenient travel to New York City, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and the beach. Compensation is $300,000–$350,000 per year.
