About The Position

Mid America Physician Services (MAPS), an affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join a long-established women's healthcare practice in the Johnson County/Shawnee Mission/Overland Park area in 2028. Physicians available in 2027 and 2028 are welcome to apply. The practice welcomes both experienced physicians and graduating residents and offers mentorship, partnership potential, and a collaborative, physician-led culture. The practice includes eight OB/GYN physicians and three advanced practice providers and has an established patient base and strong community reputation. Services include obstetrics, gynecology, preventive care, pregnancy care, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted gynecologic procedures. Deliveries and surgeries take place at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and AdventHealth South Overland Park. The role offers a guaranteed salary, a signing and retention bonus, CME allowance, insurance coverage, paid time off and holidays, malpractice coverage, and retirement benefits. The position is supported by MAPS and Unified Women's Healthcare, with access to the resources of a large physician-owned OB/GYN network, dedicated recruiting, operational, and business support teams, and national infrastructure while preserving local practice identity, clinical autonomy, and local decision-making. The practice is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, near Overland Park and Leawood.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
Physicians available in 2027 or 2028 are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive women's healthcare, including obstetrics, gynecology, preventive care, and pregnancy care.
Perform or provide care involving minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted gynecologic procedures.
Provide deliveries and surgical care at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and AdventHealth South Overland Park.
Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers in a physician-led practice.
