About The Position

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN to serve its rural practice in Winchester, Indiana. The physician will inherit an established patient base, with an opportunity to grow the practice, and provide services at neighboring St. Vincent Randolph hospital when necessary.

The practice is located in a Critical Access Hospital setting and includes a Level 1 nursery with approximately 225 deliveries per year. Outpatient volume averages 15–18 patients per day, and the physician has one dedicated surgery day per week. The practice is in the same building as Family Practitioners.

Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN.
• MD or DO credentialed by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board before the hire or job transfer date.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support certification; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN services to patients at the Winchester, Indiana rural practice.
• Provide services at neighboring St. Vincent Randolph hospital when necessary.
