About The Position
This is an outpatient clinic-only position for an OB/GYN, FPOB, or Certified Nurse Midwife in California. The role focuses on Women's Health, with a strong emphasis on high-risk OB cases. The provider will be responsible for seeing both high-risk and low-risk OB patients, dating ultrasounds, and newborn care. Chart closing must be completed within 72 hours. The assignment is for 3 months with a potential to extend, and the facility prefers 6-month contracts.
Requirements
- CA Licensure
- DEA Certification
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- BC/BE required
- 5 years of experience required
- Experience with Women's Health
- Experience with high-risk OB
- Proficiency in dating ultrasounds
- Experience with newborn care
- EPIC experience or EMR savvy
- Flu Vaccine
- TB Status/X-Ray Results (within 90 days before start date)
- Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series
- Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series
- Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series
- Tdap Immunization (within the last 10 years)
- 3 Peer References (equal or higher training level, worked with locum within last 2 years)
Nice To Haves
- An experienced women's health NP who has done high risk OB could be considered if they meet the requirements.
Responsibilities
