About The Position

Oak Street Health’s 12-month paid Adult Primary Care NP Fellowship is designed to help new nurse practitioners and eligible physician assistants develop the skills, support, and learning needed to become confident clinicians caring for older adults. The program is in formal collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Nursing and uses a value-based care model focused on quality of care rather than volume of services. Fellows build their own patient panels, learn from multiple preceptors, and participate in didactic instruction intended to build on—not repeat—their graduate training. The program has cohorts beginning in September and March each year. Fellows commit to working at Oak Street Health for at least one year after completing the fellowship, and must reside in or relocate to the program location for at least two years. The annual salary listed for the Soundview location is $112,000. The general pay range listed for the job grade is $104,442–$224,952.
