About The Position
Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a full-time RN Evening Nursing Supervisor in Middletown, Connecticut. The position works under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to maintain the highest degree of quality resident care. The supervisor meets residents’ nursing and rehabilitation needs, maintains accurate care plans, and ensures compliance with physician orders. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and pay is $49 per hour, including shift differential.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut.
- At least a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Maintain current resident care plans for residents under their care.
- Follow physician orders and provide nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other ordered care.
- Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
- Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive nursing notes.
- Maintain awareness of residents on the alert list and conduct and document RN assessments as needed.
- Document and report unusual or significant findings and contact the physician when necessary.
