Nursing Supervisor (RN)
About The Position
Belair Nursing & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring a full-time Nursing Supervisor to lead an interdisciplinary team and provide exceptional care to residents. The role includes oversight of facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position is based at 2478 Jerusalem Avenue, North Bellmore, New York 11710. Requirements
- Valid state nursing license.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
