About The Position

The Nursing Supervisor leads an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support residents’ health, comfort, and overall well-being. The role oversees facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is full-time, working 11 p.m.–7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, at The Pines at Bristol in Bristol, Connecticut.

Requirements

• Valid state nursing license.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, and ability to work with both.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or certification.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards.
