Nursing Supervisor (RN) / (Evenings)
About The Position
Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the evening shift (3pm - 11pm). This is a working supervisor role where you will be on a cart. The base pay is $42 - $50 per hour, with shift differentials up to $55 per hour. There is an on-call rotation every 8 weeks and a $4K sign-on bonus. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include oversight of the facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance to nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. Requirements
- Valid state nursing license
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or certification preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
- Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
