About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times. The role creates nursing schedules that support quality care and coordinates with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs and help ensure compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines. The position is based at Stonebrook Rehabilitation and is intended for a QMA or a CNA willing to obtain QMA certification. The schedule is either four 10-hour days per week or five 8-hour days per week.

Requirements

Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
Indiana QMA license, or CNA credential with willingness to obtain a QMA license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Help ensure staffing practices comply with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to support quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
Contribute to a supportive, engaging atmosphere and work toward excellent care for residents.
