About The Position

North Pointe Assisted Living, a Sonida Senior Living community in Anderson, South Carolina, is seeking a Nursing QMA to support residents in an assisted living and memory care community. The role includes setting up and administering medications as prescribed and in accordance with professional medication-administration standards. Requirements

Hold a current, active, unencumbered Medication Aide license in the state.

Responsibilities

Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and according to professional standards of medication administration.
Supervise CNAs as directed.
Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves, and bathroom trips.
Help residents with showers and baths.
Assist with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
Provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
Check vital signs and weight, test urine, and record intake and output information.
