About The Position

The Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative acts as a resource on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members, answering general questions and providing information, way-finding assistance, and unit support. The representative guides individuals to other OSF facilities and service areas, coordinates and may assist with patient transportation, provides directions to local areas, and advises people about nearby accommodations and amenities. The role uses various software to provide assistance and complete assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in office, hospital, administrative duties, customer service, and computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Ability to reason, interpret, and evaluate situations to provide assistance and resolve issues.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer general questions and provide information to Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members across multiple units.
• Provide way-finding assistance and unit support.
• Guide individuals to other OSF facilities and service areas.
• Coordinate and, when needed, assist with patient transportation.
