About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking BSN- or MSN-prepared registered nurses to teach in its Practical Nursing program. No teaching experience is required; training will be provided to prepare the successful candidate to become a Nursing Educator. The role follows a Monday-through-Friday day schedule and involves teaching in classrooms and/or clinical settings, supervising students, and helping prepare them for careers in nursing.
Requirements
- BSN or MSN.
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
- At least 3 years of recent clinical experience.
- Proficiency with technology.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing or Long-Term Care nursing.
- Teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and effectively deliver nursing curriculum in the classroom and/or at clinical sites.
- Supervise students and demonstrate hands-on patient care at nursing clinical sites.
- Teach nursing techniques and provide students with sufficient practice to develop skill proficiency.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes and maintain accurate student records.
- Prepare students for careers in nursing.
