About The Position

The Nursing Clinical Director coordinates and leads clinical education and instruction for students in the Nursing program, preparing them to become compassionate, skilled, and confident healthcare professionals. In partnership with the Program Director, the role oversees clinical site contracts, clinical rotations, skills lab hours and equipment, curriculum review, faculty development, and direct instruction in classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• Three years of clinical experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Active professional nurse licensure in good standing.
• Current Arizona RN license or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona.
• Any other certification or credential required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the field.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of full-time teaching experience or experience administering a nursing education program leading to licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee clinical site contracts.
• Schedule clinical rotations and manage skills lab hours to provide hands-on experience for students.
• Maintain and ensure the currency of skills lab equipment inventory.
• Collaborate on curriculum review to align with industry standards and best practices.
• Lead faculty orientation, scheduling, mentoring, and coordination.
• Participate in classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction.
