About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients at a critical illness recovery hospital that provides inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants provide compassionate care to patients throughout their recovery. The role is full-time on the night shift, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with compensation of $19.70–$24.00 per hour based on years of experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
Nursing assistant certification.
Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant experience or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
