About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill is hiring a full-time, night-shift Nursing Assistant to support patients at a critical illness recovery hospital. The hospital provides inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate care to patients during vulnerable moments. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and compensation is $19.70–$24.00 per hour, based on years of experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant work experience.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
Nursing assistant certification.
Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant work or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care services, including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
