About The Position
The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse and works under the Registered Nurse’s direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The Nursing Assistant supports patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with all team members. Tier 1 requires working across multiple units at one entity.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
