About The Position
The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by the Registered Nurse and works under the RN’s direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning. The Nursing Assistant supports patient safety and satisfaction through regular rounds on the nursing unit and effective communication with all team members. Tier 1 is required to work across multiple units at one entity.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.

- Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit.
