About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate care to patients throughout their recovery. The position is at Select Specialty Hospital – Morgantown, located on the fourth floor of Mon Health. It is a full-time night-shift role with 12-hour shifts scheduled from 6:30 to 7:00. Compensation is $17.23–$21.00 per hour, with night and weekend shift differentials, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

High school diploma/GED or at least three years of relevant work experience.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
Nursing assistant certification.
Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant experience or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Clean instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
