Nursing Assistant 2D Neuro PT Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for Baptist Health Floyd, 2D Neuro Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am). This role is benefit-eligible. The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The 2D Neuro unit specializes in providing exceptional, high-quality care to adult patients with common neuroscience diagnoses including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), seizures and epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for delivering state-of-the-art stroke care and excellence in neuroscience nursing. The team delivers personalized, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment, working as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
