Nursing Assistant (NA) Full-Time
About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate care to patients during vulnerable and difficult moments. The role is located inside Christian Northeast in St. Louis, Missouri, and offers full-time day or night 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Compensation is $19 to $23.17 per hour based on years of experience, with an additional $1.50 night-shift differential and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant work experience.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

- Actively enrolled RN student.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
- Participate in hourly rounds.
- Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
- Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
