Nursing Assistant - Full-time Days
About The Position
OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture/partnership/affiliation with Select Medical, is hiring a Nursing Assistant for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Dublin, Ohio. The hospital provides compassionate care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. This is a full-time day-shift position paying $18.05–$22.00 per hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. The organization offers an extensive orientation program and support for employees’ career growth and well-being.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
- Nursing assistant certification.
- Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant work or active enrollment as an RN student.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
- Assist patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
- Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves, and document oral intake.
- Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment, and participate in the mobility program.
- Transport patients to designated areas, including to and from treatment centers.
