About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care, assists with patients’ psychosocial needs, and performs general cleaning of units and equipment on the medical/surgical floor under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role also performs Emergency Department receptionist duties, including registration and switchboard duties. This is a full-time position working 72 hours per pay period, with shifts from 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. The schedule includes every third weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must be on the CNA Central Registry before hire.
• Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, be accurate, and handle stressful situations calmly.

Nice To Haves

• Secretarial or reception experience.
