About The Position
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The hospital is a 32-bed, free-standing specialty hospital providing inpatient rehabilitation services.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
