Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Faculty (Pool)
About The Position
Anoka Technical College is seeking Nursing Assistant faculty members for full-time and part-time teaching. Day, evening, and some weekend courses are available, and course schedules can be modified to accommodate instructor preferences. This position instructs students using the Minnesota State Curriculum for Nursing Assistants in preparation to take the state competency exam and register for the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry. Compensation will be based upon the number of credits assigned, education, and related work experience.
Requirements
- Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care.
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
