About The Position

Vintage Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community in St. Joseph, Missouri, is seeking a PRN Nursing Aide to support residents in its Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. The role assists residents with daily activities and care while promoting dignity, self-care, and independence. The community offers technology intended to support resident safety and care delivery, along with flexible scheduling and training opportunities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication assistance, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with meal setup and service, and clean up afterward.
• May help plan and carry out regularly scheduled resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
